Wed. 21 Sept.
- Excursion to Colle the “Town of the Crystal”
9:30 – 11:45 am Meet your Guide - Daniela (she will wear a hat written “Cape Code” ) in Piazza Arnolfo in the town of Colle situated in Colle di Val d’Elsa.
1:15 – 2:00 pm Visit and lunch at the “Fattoria San Donato”, San Donato situated in San Gemignano. Wine tasting : Chianti Colli Senesi Docg,Vernaccia di San Gimignano Docg . Light Snack of: Bruschetta e Olive oil, Ricotta with Herbs and sund dried tomatoes sott’olio, cipolline all’aceto di Chianti, melanzane al funghetto,peperoni aromatizzati,insalata di farro con pomodoro fresco e basilico con affettati misti (Prosciutto ,Salame,Finocchiona) pecorino di produzione locale con miele
(girasole,acacia,o melata di quercia ) Cantucci e Vin Santo

5:00 pm HD guided tour in San Gimignano. Meeting at the main parking lot outside the main gate into the town “Porta S. Giovanni”.

Thurs. 22 Sept.
- Visit and lunch at Fattoria Castello di Verrazzano in Greve in Chianti.
11 am – 1:30 pm Guide Mr. Gino Rosi meet at the Castle.
Wine tasting:Verrazzano Rosso – salumi assortiti (prosciutto, salame e finocchiona), Chianti Classico d’annata – salamino di cinghiale e soprassata, Chianti Classico Riserva d’annata – fettunta e fagioli all’olio, Supertuscan – pecorino e assaggio di parmigiano e balsamico di Verrazzano, Vin Santo – cantuccini alle mandorle

5:00 pm Visit with wine tasting at the Albola Castle in Radda in Chianti (Siena). Guide Veronique Peeters/Paola Golding meeting at the Castle. Wine tasting: Le Marangole, Chianti Classico Castello d’Albola, Le Ellere.

Fri. 23 Sept.
- Visit & lunch at the Avignonesi wine estate, Fattoria Le Capezzine in Valiano di Montepulciano(Siena).
Lunch: Cinta Senese ham and salami, Semi aged and extra aged sheep cheese, crostini with chicken levers. Wine: Bianco Avignonesi 2004, bianco IGT Toscana, Fresh hand made pasta with pesto sauce and cherry tomatoes. Wine: Il Marzocco 2003, Cortona Chardonnay DOC. Grilled chianina beef with grilled vegetables, Wine: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2002.

16.30 pm HD Guided tour of the town Montepulciano with wine tasting, meeting in Piazza Grande in Montepulciano.
Free evening in Pienza. I suggest the restaurants: “La buca delle fate” tel. 0578-748272, Situated in an ancient building from the 15th cent. in the cellars. Or a little bit more elegant “La terrazza del chiostro” situated in an ancient monastery in the centre of Pienza.

Sat. 24 Sept.
- Visit the winery estate “Casato Prime Donne” in Montalcino.
9.45 am It’s situated 5 km from the town of Montalcino arriving from Siena. Wine tasting: Rosso di Montalcino DOCG, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva
Lunch on your own
16.30 Visit to the winery estate “Fattoria del Colle” in Trequanda, it’s situated towards Sinalunga and you have to pass the small village of Trequanda for about 2 km.
Wine tasting: Leone Rosso IGT Toscana, Cenerentola DOC Orcia.
Demonstration how the Pici are prepared. Dinner based on Pici (hand made
pasta) and cheese.

Sun. 25 Sept.
10:00 am HD guided sightseeing of the town Siena, Meet your guide Paolo Faldoni at the first parking garage before entering Siena (the guide will call you the day before to confirm the location of the appointment). Or you can call Rebecka - Italian Wine Taste.
Lunch on your own

15 pm Visit and wine tasting at Azienda Agricola Castel di Pugna, owned by the Count Luigi Alberto Fumi Cambi Gado. The Castle is situated just 10 minutes by car from Siena in Val di Pugna. The highway is called SS73 (Roma – Firenze). Wine tasting: Chianti Colli Senesi, Chianti Colli Senesi Riserva, Toscano Rosso IGT. Typical tiscan salami, pecorino cheese, bruschette with the olive oil that is produced in the castle.
19.30/20 pm Dinner with sommelier at the restaurant “Cane & Gatto” in Via Pagliaresi n° 6 in Siena. Parking in Porta Romana and then it’s approx. 300 m by foot to the restaurant. Here the owner Mr. Paolo Senni will receive you. Dinner: the tasting menù is the following; antipasto with 4 different small dishes, two tasting of the first course a soup or a “vellutata”, fresh home made pasta; spaghetti, fettuccine, pappardelle or ravioli, and the main dishes two different meat courses with vegetables, two different desserts, fresh fruit, wine tasting (you can decide to taste different wines by glass or a bottle of a very good wine), aperitif an excellent Prosecco sparkling wine and dessert wine.
Mon. 26 Sept. - Visit “La Villa Medicea di Poggio a Caiano”, the summer residence of the Medici family (from 1445)
9.45 am From the freeway you have to take the exit Calenzano, towards Poggio Caiano. The entrance to the villa is every ½ hour (9, 9.30, 10) to (villa and garden) tour lasts approx. 1 ½ hour.
11.30 a.m Wine tasting at the Capezzana wine estate in
no later than Carmignano owned by the Count Ugo Contini Bonacossi,
11:45 am. it takes approx. 15 minutes from the villa. You have to take the way SS66, after the locality Poggetto turn left at the traffic light near the red house and follow the indications for Capezzana.

Lunch on your own

Afternoon Visit of the museum Leonardiano in the Castle of Count Guidi in the town of Vinci. Afterwards you must visit the native birth place of Leonardo in Anchiano that it’s situated 3 km (10 min by car) from Vinci on the hills and it’s surrounded by olive trees, a beautiful place.
